It's a lightbulb. It fit my lamp and was cheap. There's nothing special about it, but I guess the whole making light thing is pretty special. Yay, light.

Here is a known brand. This was great cost for the quality. This was including shipping. For a small light bulb, I really enjoy the glow.

I bought these bulbs for my bedside lamps, and they're not too bright. In fact, they're just right. They were packaged very well and I don't get the feeling like they often get customers who receive broken bulbs with the way they're packed. Came out of the package easily, went right in and eight months later, they're still going strong.
No complaints.

The light burned out on our Duraflame 'Electric Stove' Heater, and let's be honest, the fake burning coals and flames are pretty and fun to look at, so we needed to replace the bulb. We couldn't find our instruction manual for the heater, though. We looked online, on Duraflame's web site, etc.. couldn't find it. All we knew was the bulb read 120v 40w and looked like this one. So we bought this, it fits, we can see the flames again, and all is good in the world.

I can use them, but they are longer bulbs than what I needed. Ceiling fan bulbs are hard to find.
