The price paid is probably a bit too much for the quality, and anytime you order items such as these that have to be put together, perfection should not be expected. That being said, a couple of the glass panels had small scratches in the paint design, and a couple of the panels did not line up probably to be held securely in the bottom clips. It does operate as described and the receiver of this item (as a gift) was happy with it... that is all that matters, right?

This lamp is beautiful to the eye, looks awesome with the decor of my bedroom. Since it arrived, it was put together but has not worked. At first the lights just kept going on and off themselves non stop. I literally had to loosen bulbs to make them stop. Then when i tightened them again....NOTHING....doesn't work at all. $40 down the drain. Would cost money to send back. Two items this week I receive from Amazon not able to use...not happy one bit.

Thank you for your quick replacement of the original lamp i had ordered.

The replacement lamp is working there is one clamp missing that holds a glass plate on but the matching clamp is there so I feel it will work.

I did receive an extra set of the screw pipe and top crown. Do you want me to return it?

A few years ago touch lamps seemed to be in most of the local stores. I had an old bedroom touch lamp that I wanted to replace and could no longer find them in local stores. This touch lamp is exactly what I was looking for. Assembly was quick and easy. The lamp works flawlessly. Problem solved! I would buy this lamp again and recommend it to others looking for a touch lamp. Touch lamps work particularly well on a night stand next to a bed since one can simply touch it to control it without having to fiddle with a switch of some sort.
