These are very fine looking table lamps. Will enhance traditional decor. The wooden stand is not solid, it is hollow. That may be one negative, but that also makes it lighter. Overall satisfied.

We got his lamp to replace one that had seen better days. This one appears to be well made and it fits in nicely with the decor. Good purchase!

I bought 2 of these lamps to use in my bedroom. Like one previous reviewer stated 'they are very dark', and much darker than they look in the picture, which I think looks more like a walnut color. I almost thought they were black until i looked at them closely, but I am fine with the color as it matches & highlights the Mark Barlow bicast headboard that I recently bought on Amazon. They are very nice lamps and do not take up a ton of room like my old lamps. They are well made, heavy but not too heavy, 10lbs, and not solid hardwood like another reviewer mentioned. For the price, and as you know lamps can be very pricey, they are a good buy and I am glad that I bought them. Shipping was VERY fast & I received them in a few days, by Amazon.com

I LOVE these! I ordered two! They arrived fast and they look great, the bottom is a little darker than the picture but the brown shows more when you turn on the light. They are big and beautiful! They may be expensive but they are worth it!
