If your expecting this product to look exactly like the picture then you will be greatly disappointed, it was delivered with a different base, the base looks like their other cheaper products that have a round base...the only difference is that the round base is bigger maybe, the wood was light colored wood with brown leg pegs, the pyramid was nice but not as orange or that looked anything like the picture (which I expected), also when I got it it had a crack in the switch and when I plugged it in it did not work, so I sent it back and the second one I got the turn style on the switch was popped off but I popped it back on...plugged it in and it worked just fine, I liked it so much that I was willing to keep it and put up with it, so far I have noticed that the air quality seems to be better and it helped get rid of the smell in the room after my husband smoked his cigar, it also sets a nice energy vibe in the room, I am now going to buy more salt lamps for the rest of my house.

My neighbor has horrible allergies which send her to the allergist for treatments twice a week. She was house sitting for me an entire week and she said her doctor wanted to know which HVAC filter I used because her congestion was great that whole week. Since I just use the bottom of the line cheapest air filter available we determined it must be my salt lamp. She's bought several since, including one for her bedroom, living room, computer room, one to leave on her desk at work and even one for the car! She said she can't recall ever breathing so clearly.

I purchased this product because of the dimmer feature. I have two other types of salt lamps that I absolutely love and I liked the design of this one. When I received it, I noticed that it didn't have a dimmer switch. Checking back, it is advertised to come with dimmer. It's a good thing that one of my other lamps had a dimmer switch that I could switch out. Beware of faulty switches.

The lamp gives a really warm soothing light. A great feature is the dimmer switch so you can have a brighter mood light with a yellow glow or dim it all the way to give a glowing ember-like golden halo. It is a perfect night light, or the kind of pleasant background light while you're listening to music or meditating. It is surprisingly heavy so will need to be on a solid piece of furniture. The wooden base is good because it is very subtle and doesn't interfere with the visual presence of the light when it is on. I haven't had to change the bulb yet but saved the instructions since it doesn't look like changing the bulb will be simple, but we'll jump off that bridge when we get to it! Enjoy!

This is a beautiful lamp that I keep in my bathroom as a "night light". I love the dimmer switch. I took off one star because the salt pyramid is set into the base slightly crooked. If it weren't so heavy, I would have tried to exchange it.
