This turn knob fits lamps with "oversized" diameter components. 6-32 turn knobs are commonly used with lamp sockets that attach to 1/4 IP (International Pipe Standard) (1/2" O.D.) threaded nipples. Most lamps in homes use 4-32 threads with 1/8 IP threaded nipples holding the sockets and containing the wiring. The IP standards are from days when gas lighting was common, before electricity became our prefered lighting power source. This know is a good quality and as advertised.

Product was as advertised and arrived quickly. Would be better with an assortment of different sizes. I would rate more products if the process wasn't so long.

Yes, these are lamp turn knobs. I use them to turn my lamps on... and I use them to turn my lamps off. hmmm..... I really liked the texture of the plastic. The 6-32 threads fit my lamp perfectly, and the color! Well, the color was a perfect match. WoW!
Honest reviews on 6-32 thread Lamp Turn Knob (10 pieces)
I thought we measured correctly when we bought this item, but alas, it did not fit on my lamps, which are standard sized lamps. The price I paid for this item lessened the blow of it not fitting on my lamps.

I didn't need 10 of them, but I got 10 because we have old lamps around the house. The threads on one of the kbos had stripped. One of these twisted on. It works. What more can you really say about an object like this? It's a lamp knob. It works. Buy lamps from Salvation Army instead of Target. Get these for a buck if you need them. Happy days. Have fun with your lamp knobs!
