the lamp is nice with the heavy metal base. the shade is very beautiful and actually it is a bit neutral in color when it is on. In regards to the material I have seen some comments mentioning it is plastic but from what I see it is a mix of art glass and plastic pieces gluing glass so I would still say this is a nice art glass lamp. The shipping was fast and the package was thorough. Happy with the purchase.
