These lamp shades are good quality and simple. They attach at the top and hang down. They are just the right size because they cover up the light bulb but don't use up a lot of space. They are great if space is limited. I got the white shades and they are more like an eggshell linen color. Beautiful!

The only reason that I rate the lampshade only 2 stars is because it was much too small for my lamps. As far as the quality, I did not see anything wrong with it.
