I was really excited about getting this lamp. The color looked perfect for my living room, and I just love the marble look of the lamp. However, my excitement quickly faded when I received my package today, and pulled out the actual product. The box shows the correct product name, but the color of the lamp is a horrible shade of green. This lamp looks nothing like what the Amazon product page shows. There is also an extremely visible seam that runs down the side of the lamp's marbled surface. To top it off, there was a large piece of packaging tape holding the lamp in the product box. When I removed the tape, it pulled chunks of paint off from the bronze portion of the lamp, leaving nasty looking spots.
I am extremely disppointed in this lamp. It is not at all the color that is shown on the Amazon product page. The overall look of the lamp is cheap, because of the visible seam, and the missing paint due to the packaging tape they applied to the box and lamp. I would return this lamp, but the box pretty much fell apart during the process of removing the lamp. I should also point out that the lamp shade comes flat, in the box, and brackets must be assemble to push it out to its intended shape. This is fine with me, except for the fact that the shade is now all wrinkled looking. Hopefully the wrinkles will fade over time. Overall this is not a lamp that I can display in my living room, as intended. I will have to hide this lamp in one of our bedrooms, where guests will not be able to see it. :-(This lamp is exactly as pictured, easy to assemble and looks very nice on the bedside table. I'm very happy with the choice.
