This lamp works perfectly for my chosen space. I have a beautiful framed piece on the wall that was partially hidden by my previous lamp. This lamp keeps the space open & has the versatility of various adjustments depending on whether I'm reading, watching TV, or just want an accent light. It's attractive and unobtrusive at the same time. Was partially assembled so it was easy to finish the job. Packaging was very secure. (Only thing I didn't like was the styrofoam packing material made a mess to clean up. Even though the pieces were large, they crumbled when pulled out of the box.) Very happy with the purchase.

We love this lamp with its time-tested traditional design. The heights adjusts up and down, and the shade adjusts to any angle, making it easy to target a chair or desk spot. One quibble: though advertised as having a three-way socket that supports up to 150 watts, it comes with the switch in the cord and takes up to a 100 watt bulb, still good and bright for reading.
