This little lamp is just right for a soft light behind the TV. It does use the small-base lightbulb that was not mentioned. It has an on-cord switch, also not mentioned. But I will get more of these.

This is more of a night stand lamp than a table lamp. We bought two for the living room to replace some stand lights that I very much dislike. Unfortunately these were just not up to par. We sent them back for a refund. If you need a little desk lamp...eh maybe. But, if you need to read, nope, this won't do the trick.
