Item description is not correct on the bulb size. The instructions with the lamp say 60W max (or 13W CF), not 100W. There is a concrete weight within the base but the bottom edge of the concrete is visible when the lamp is on the table. The concrete has been painted black but it is definitely noticable and detracts from the appearance. Either the concrete weight should have been thinner or the metal lamp base deeper so that it covered it completely. Also, the item description does not mention that the switch for the lamp is on the cord, rather than a typical lamp switch up near the bulb. It is also odd that there is almost 2 feet of cord between the lamp base and the cord switch. With the lamp on a table, the switch is almost on the floor. The lamp is decent but probably not worth the price. I may end up sending it back.
