I purchased this fan, put it together and plugged it in the indoor outlet. It worked fine but when I plugged it in the outdoor outlet it kept tripping the GFI. After having an electrician out to fix what I thought was the problem the GFI he said the fan was defective and it could possibly cause a fire if I plugged it in the inside outlet where it worked. That is the reason it kept tripping the outdoor outlet. So check both outlets before throwing the box away.

So far so good. Easy to put together. Works great. Moves more are than I expected. Pretty quite. Will enjoy on hot days this summer on the patio. Fan Mister I bought with it works great too. A nice mist of water and the fan blows it far for a nice cooling effect.

Bought this to create a light breeze on my patio and help keep flies away. It is not powerful enough, the breeze ends if you stand 3' away. I found the same one at Lowes for $150.00!!! Small parts are not made well, instructions not clear.
