My Mom loves the lamp, but I almost had a heart attack when it arrived and the box it was packed in was crushed on one side and ripped.

The measurements were accurate in the product description and the lamp works as expected. The entire thing does require assembly however, so that was a little surprise, but I did not have any problems putting it together.

If you are not handy or have problems handling small parts, you might want to get someone to help you put this together....I imagine anyone with arthritis or difficulty handling small parts *could* have a litle difficulty putting this together. Also keep in mind that the panels of the lamp are glass, so this lamp is breakable.
