The dark bronze is darker than the photo looks and is a decent match for restoration hardware's version of bronze. Lamp looks more expensive than it was. Fairly heavy. Shade is a little big for the size of the lamp by just a bit, but still ok. Lamp has high and low settings but works with a fluorescent bulb anyway. PleasedLove it! It blended in perfectly in my room! I was worried that it may be cheap considering the price...but it is very heavy and well made. The globe is actual glass!
