I typically do not write reviews but this recent purchase has me doing so. With that said, the House of Troy has done a great job in producing this hand crafted light. All components are well crafted and solidly built. The switch located on the base of the lamp is very nice compared to those with the wheel switch several feet down the electrical cord. It is worth spending the extra dollars for this lamp vice a lower quality product. Thank you to the craftsman at the House of Troy. This beautiful light will stand the test of time.
