I saw this lamp in a furniture store and was going to buy it I decided to check Amazon first and it was $30 less through Amazon it came very well packaged nothing squished (the shade was in it's own box) easy to put together. My boyfriend is an avid hunter so I wanted to add a touch of that to our living room this is not a tacky lamp by any means well made and sturdy a "handsome" lamp that blends in nicely with the rest of our decor and can also serve as a bit of a "conversation piece". Highly recommend!Better than described, pictures don't do it justice. Perfect for Rustic or outdoors type decor. Good solid construction. Bought two, will more than likely buy more
