I recently purchased this item to use in a long, darkish hallway to help my half-blind old cat (17 years and still going)get around better. It is as cute as a button, bright for it's size, and well-made for being a night-light. Yes, the "glass" portion of the lantern has a transparent yellow tint, but it doesn't bother me. Perhaps because I placed mine in a floor outlet and thus it's not noticeable. It came very well-packaged. I may have to purchase another one for his "litter" bathroom!

Not as good with the light off! They are made of plastic and the faux glass is yellow when the light is off. This isn't as noticeable when the light is on, but doesn't look the best during the day. Other than that, it is very cute, sturdy and I like that it has an on/off switch.

Disappointed. Make sure your plug goes up and down. It looks cute when plugged in but unplugged it looks really cheap. I didn't send it back by the gime I did the return shipping it just wasn't worth it.
