The lamps were well packed and arrived in excellent condition and earlier than expected at my home here in South Korea. They have a real art deco feel to them and blend perfectingly into my contemporary living room. Made from good quality material, I expect them to last for years. I really like them! I'm a college student and my dorm's lighting fixtures are far from pleasant. Fluorescent lighting is harsh and makes me feel like I'm in a hospital at all hours of the day. This lamp provides a nice warm glow do to the cream color of the shade. It's a nice heavy construction with the frame being made out of metal and the shade being made out what seems to be plastic that is wrapped in a cream fabric. I love the lamp and I've had no problems with it! I highly recommend it.
