I needed this shade for an antique lamp with an odd drop to the double lights. This shade is lighter than the photo, but it is really nice. I can now read without having the glare of the light bulb showing under the shade.

This shade is beautiful! Lighter than I expected, has a lot of gold in it rather than tans or browns. Had to send it back because my lamp was the wrong style and it just didn't work. Word of caution returning this item was EXPENSIVE! Be sure your lamp base is modern like the shade.

The shade was nice and I probably would have liked it had it arrived in decent condition. Sorry to say that the packaging was inadequate. The box was received smashed and the shade was not protected at all. I ordered two shades. They were shoved together and were very difficult to pull apart. Both were smashed beyond use.
