The lamp itself is nice looking and I do love the two lights being adjustable to direct the light exactly where you need it. If you put the top light upward toward the ceiling, it gives off a full-room dim light up.

The one thing about the lamp I'm not that satisfied with is the bulbs stick out a bit too far out of the shades. If the shades were an inch longer, it would be perfect. With the end of the bulbs being exposed, it makes it too eye-blinding to look directly at the lamp when turned on.

This was a great purchase. Even though the shades are made of plastic, the lamp is very functional and nice looking. It is especially convenient to have the ability to direct the beam of light in which direction you need. By keeping one pointed up to the ceiling, it projects a good amount of light. We keep the other projected downward towards the table and it give a more subdued light. It is almost like a 3 way light depending on which one is switched on or if both are switched on.

The lamp looks great. I love that the heads swivel. I don't think it looks cheap at all, even with the plastic shades. My lamp came with two 40 watt candelabra type bulbs which I've been using without any problems.
