The lamp comes exactly as advertised. It's pleasant enough to look at unlit, but truly shines in the evening when illuminated at any of the three lighting levels. It was easy to put together and the touch feature functions perfectly. The lamp was a gift for my mother and, when set to its dimmest level, she uses it as a nightlight. She loves it.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas. She wanted a touch lamp for her bedside, and she's a bird afficionado. Perfect, I thought. Really, it's too large for a night stand, but it's so pretty that she loved it anyway. It was especially well packaged, too.

I cannot recommend these lamps.They are ADVERTISED as being 360 WATT BULBS. The sockets are clearly labeled 25 WATT BULBS ONLY. I ordered two sight unseen primarily because of the 3X60= 180 watt advertisement. Instead these are 3X25 = 75 watts maximum rating. If you put larger bulbs than they are rated for, then you WILL burn out the TRIAC in the capacitive touch module in the base of the lamp and end up with a lamp that stays on on full light setting all of the time. You can resolder a new triac into the unit to fix this.

The lamps look more like antique brass than they do brushed gold. The base is made from such light metal that the slightest bump will dent the metal material. The shade is made out of something resembling the old "non-rusting" coathanger wire you hang clothes on, and the little metal flowers on the frame arrived with their petal bent. The finger tabs that hold the bottom of the glass were super thin and many were bent double. Not good quality They are that flimsy and cheaply constructed. They come packed in plain brown boxes, instead of the normal retail type boxes. The shade is thrown in the box inside of a plastic bag, and the lamp stand is thrown inside fo the shade also in a plastic bag. The glass panels are curved at the bottom and are only wrapped in paper. The glass has the same scene on each of the six panels and the scene is painted on the inside of the glass, along with some sort of spotty granular coating around some of the white flowers to create a sort of shiny effect when the light shines through. Some of the nuts will not even thread onto the screws, because the threads are not correct, and there are vertical twisted wires between the glass panels, (which arrived bent and out of place), where the glare from the light bulbs shines through into your eyes. There is a warning with the lamp that if the spacing is not correct that there is a danger of starting a fire!!!

NOT RECOMMENDED. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GET SOMETHING NICER. THE OLD STYLE LAMPS MADE BY TIMELESS ELEGANCE ARE SO MUCH NICER, and heavier in construction,. and they sold for less than half the price.... I COULD NOT FIND TIMELESS ELEGANCE ANYMORE TO ORDER FROM THEM. Timeless elegance made their touch lamps out of heavier brass, with EIGHT gray colored glass panels packed in styrofoam, with etched floral designs. If held side by side, there is no comparison in the quality of the two lamps.

This lamp is larger than I expected. Pictures on glass shade are beautiful, colors are perfect. Pleased with purchase....... Worth buying for sure..

The glass part of the lamp is pretty and the touch system works well; however, the 3 25watt bulbs aren't throwing enough light to read by. While it was packaged pretty well for shipping, the product is so cheaply and lightly made that it was quite bent up and I had to try and straighten it out as much as possible. The base is very light and has a cheap plastic bottom to it--the weight comes from the glass panels, making it top heavy. A light breeze moving through the front room was making it wobble. I will use for now to replace the broken lamp I had, but I will save my money for a sturdier lamp--I suggest others do likewise.
