When I purchased this lamp it was on sale for 54.00 dollars an free shipping. Well what a surprise I got when opening the box. The lamp was big and heavy, not going to tip over, ha. It has a night lite in the bottom which shows the detailing and beauty of lamp.
I have never purchased a lamp with extravagent quality for so small of amount. An the appearance on the table was perfect. Not for a small table either. The price right now is a low price on this lamp. Should be over 100.00 dollar. Goes with about all decor. The base is more of a bronze than black. Very happy!!!!

I bought this for my Mother for Mother's Day and the day it came in she happened to be with me. So instead of waiting a couple weeks to give it to her, she got it early. We unwrapped it together. After putting on the harp, grabbing a bulb, (the nightlight bulb was included) and putting on the shade, we turned it on with delight. The base is a nice warm honey color lit, white with streaks of amber and peach when it's not. The Shade is a satin beige/tan color with a slight hint of a gold sheen to it. It throws plenty of light when it's lit. It's nice and tall and heavy. Not overly heavy that you will have a problem moving it to dust, but heavy enough it shouldn't fall if someone tries to turn it on. Some lamps today are so cheaply made I have found this to be the case. But not with this lamp, high quality all the way. Since my mom loves bead fringe I will probably be taking a trip to the fabric store to add a touch of crystal to it, but with or without it's lovely.
