Simple and practical, this lamp works perfectly in our newborn's nursery. The chrome stand has a substantially-weighted base that gives me confidence that it won't tip over and the swing-arm allows me to easily reposition the light as needed. The large off-white shade warms the tone of the light without significantly reducing the amount of light cast on the surrounding area. For added flexibility, we connected the lamp to a (third-party) plug-in dimmer switch and have been thoroughly pleased with the results. If you, like me, favor functionality over frill and prefer a minimalist design aesthetic, I think this lamp would suit you well.

This lamp came well packaged and was easy to assemble. It is well-balanced and moves great on it's swing arm. It does not overbalance when extended.

1. The product description said it had a dimmer. IT DOES NOT HAVE A DIMMER.

2. The product description said the bulb was NOT included. THE BULB WAS INCLUDED, right in the factory, based on the wrapping. I SPENT AN EXTRA $13.00 or so for a bulb I will not need for 9 years.

I am an unhappy customer on this one, even though the basic lamp is fine.

Product arrived quickly, the shade is great quality and the base of the lamp is solid yet sleek. The pole was larger than I expected, which was a nice surprise. I think it looks even nicer than expected. Great quality and appearance for an excellent price.
