I purchased this lamp for my daughter's bedroom and we were not disappointed! It comes well packaged and after a very simple put-together, it was ready to be displayed in her room (which just happens to be purple, too.) I like the fact that the switch is one of those that are on the cord and you just have to take your thumb and slide it up. It is very pretty lit up and would recommend this product highly.

I ordered this lamp in the lavender color and I'm a little disappointed. The product picture made the hue of lampshade look a lot more vibrant than it is. Even the trim around the shade looks kind of bland in comparison. It's still a beautiful lamp, but I had different expectations about the degree of purpleness.
