Great Lamp and Amazon continues to provide the best customer service out there. The lamp gets 5 stars, but I would give 6 stars to the customer service by 1stoplighting and Amazon.

I ordered two of these lamps several months ago. Upon receipt, I inspected the lamps briefly and then returned them to their original packaging, while we completed renovation of the guest bedroom, which was the intended home for these lamps. Just a couple days ago, as we moved everthing into the room, I now see that one of them has 3-inch gouge on one side. I know I didn't inadvertantly cause the damage because someone tried to cover it up with touch-up paint. Naturally, I was irritated that I received a damaged item (and that I didn't notice it on my initial inspection). I notified both 1stoplighting and Amazon (keep in mind this is 8 months after my order). To my pleasant surprise, both offered to exchange the item. In the end, it was Amazon that handled the exchange, but I was impressed with the exceptional customer service offered by both 1stoplighting and Amazon. Wow! Eight months later and no questions asked. That is top-notch service!

This is a beautiful lamp. The item arrived packaged well and needing minimal assembly. Not much to it really, I mean.... it's a lamp.

Two pulls allow for two bulbs. I put in one medium wattage and one low wattage to create the desired ambiance in my room.

If it was damaged for some reason, I'd definitely buy it again.

The lamp is functional and it is a good height. However, what makes it stand out is the mica shade. It gives the room a warm glow using two 13w CFLs that can be switched on independently. It also looks good from outside the house as I have it in front of a picture window. Prior to purchasing this, I wasn't familiar with mica shades. I am now a convert. It looks exactly as pictured here. I had no problems with the delivery; it was packed very well.
