I bought this Uttermost Verrone lamp for my sofa table. It arrived well packaged in 2 packages, one for the lamp and another for the shade. The base of the lamp looks just like the picture; it is an oil rubbed bronze color with a subtle wash of very dark gold. However, the shade took me by surprise as the website picture makes it look off white although the description says it is a khaki linen fabric. It definitely is a khaki linen fabric and it has A LOT of brown slubbing throughout the shade in random patterns, not just up and down. This is the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5; I think the picture on the website should show the correct color of the shade and it doesn't. When I saw the shade I thought it was going to look too dark and I'd have to return the lamp but when I put the lamp on the table it actually looked very good. I think the shade accents the lamp base and vice versa, they go together well. It's a unique looking lamp and makes my whole room look good. I'm very glad I bought it!
