I think the previous reviewer thought this was a book light...it's actually a rugged, 6 LED clamp-on BBQ light that illuminates the grill on the darkest of nights! It can also double as a work light in the garage, a desk lamp in the office even a great light to take camping and clamp-onto the picnic table for a late night of playing cards. Totally flexible neck allows the light to shine anywhere. You won't be disappointed with the versatility and brightness of this product!

I've been using this light for the last month on my outdoor bbq and so far it's been great. More than enough light and it easily clips onto the side shelf. When not in use I store it under the grill cover. For the money it's a great deal.Best Deals for Fulcrum 20019-301 Battery-Operated LED Clip-On Task and BBQ Light
This is the only battery powered book light that actually gives enough light to see both pages of a book or magazine when open. Also, operates on AA batteries which are less expensive and easier to get than the button type batteries that the other book lights require.Honest reviews on Fulcrum 20019-301 Battery-Operated LED Clip-On Task and BBQ Light
I love this little light. It illuminates a funny built-in computer console that also happens to house our land-line phone. Most importantly, we need a battery operated light as we that before mentioned phone to dial the electric company with during power-outages. We are super rural so we have lots of outages and our cell phones don't get reception here!!!I tried to find the battery requirements prior to receiving the product with no success.... so I'm posting here in case anyone else is looking. *****3-AA Batteries******
On another note, I disagree with previous reviews that feel the clamp is weak, I have mine clamped to a 1" thick shelf and it is VERY secure.

I have bought a couple of LED worklights. They are handy for seeing under sinks, tables and hard to reach places like behind filing cabinets when you're dealing with electrical cords. LED are energy efficient and batteries will last longer than other types of lights. Also, LEDs run cooler so you won't burn yourself. What makes this Fulcrum task light special is the big clip and gooseneck. It was originally marketed as a BBQ light, but I mostly use it for inside the house. I like that it illuminates an area evenly across the entire circle for better visibility. i.e. doesn't have a hot spot.
PROS:
Handy clip to secure to various surfaces.
Gooseneck to position the light wherever you want it to illuminate.
Even illumination... no hot spot.
LEDs are energy efficient and batteries will last longer
CONS:
None so far
TIP:
I cut a 4" x 10" piece of foam or rubber gripper type of material and place it between the clamp and surface. This does two things... protects the surface from scratches and prevents the light from slipping, especially when mounted on a vertical edge.
