The lamps are beautiful and look perfect in my bedroom. I had shopped several local stores and could not find anything that I wanted. I was about to "settle" for something until a friend told me about Amazon. I went on the website and found many selections. These lamps were exactly what I was looking for and they were much cheaper than the local stores. I used a soft pink bulb in them to really give a soothing effect in the bedroom. They are absolutely gorgeous.

I ordered two lamps for my bedroom. With pillow-top beds being so tall, it's important for me to have tall lamps. These are perfect. Some things you might want to know:

The shade for the "bronze" lamp is a bamboo color, not really a light beige. I happen to love this. When the lamp is on, the lamp shade glows, hilighting the woven detail.

The base is very dark it appears more black than brown.

Contrary to the description, there is only one pull chain. (The picture is accurate.) When you pull the chain, both bulbs are on it is not a "three-way" lamp. This is my only complaint and is the reason for listing this with 4 stars instead of 5.

My lamps shipped with lots of packaging and arrived in excellent condition. Assembly was easy, requiring no tools. Be careful when removing the celophane around the shade any imperfections in the shade are very visible when the lamp is on.

I am considering purchasing the same lamps for my living room! The price ($69) was very reasonable for this lamp.

I have been looking for a Asian style desk lamp and this lamp fit the bill. Only drawback was that the lamp shade is very thin. I would have liked a longer shade to defuse the light on to the desk and also give it better balance of the long frame.

Purchased two of these for my living room. Wanted something contemporary but not too modern and that was at least gender neutral (so that my husband would be happy too). These definitely achieved those goals. They are solid lamps, nicely made and easy to assemble. However, the shades are not as sturdy as I would like. I unpacked one and put it together, my husband the other. When he assembled his, he was not as careful with the shade. Now the shade is bowed a bit out of shape. It doesn't show as much during the day but does at night while lit. That part is disappointing. Especially for lamps over $100 each.
