In the picture of this pendant lamp, the cord the lamp hangs from appears completely stiff and straight--which fits the angles of the glass. I assumed it was polished steel--it certainly looks like it. However, the cord is actually a black, kinked, plastic power line, much like one you might have on an appliance. It looks pretty ridiculous and sloppy. If the cord would straighten completely, it might work. However, the kinks and bends look too strong for that. A steel cover for the power line is needed. Until this change is made, don't bother with this lamp.

LOVE these lights.

This is a much cheaper copy of the Flos Fuchsia lights, that I used back in the days when I could do $70k remodels and not blink an eye. These give you all the style for much less money.

Yes the cord comes out bent, and even 2 years later the bending never really straightens out. Live with it or spend 10x as much for the Flos lights!

We saw lights just like these in a fancy light store for 3 times the price. The only draw back is the bulb, which comes with this light is very hot. Just change out and all is well.
