The sleek, elegant design caught my eye. It's well made and substantial enough for proper balance. The arm is easy to relocate. Even with three little bulbs it's not very bright. However, the light is sufficient for readying in bed; which is the purpose for which I bought it.

I really like the item, provides plenty of lighting and has a great sophisticated look to it. Great for reading, no glare. Highly adjustable, with 3 adjustable spots on the lamp. I highly recommend this lamp, it is worth the price.

Received the lamp today will update in time regarding reliability.

First off, the lamp came well packaged and arrived in perfect working order. It is an easy lamp to set up. Remove from packing material, position on desk, shape neck as you see fit, and plug in/turn on. There is a 1-page instruction sheet, but the set up was so obvious my 18 month old nephew probably could have figured it out.

Total length of neck is 39", but keep in mind that depending on how you position it you probably won't achieve 39" in length. Nothing bad, just stating the obvious I think.

The base of the lamp is very heavy compared to the weight of the neck/lamp. Seems sufficient to anchor the lamp and keep it in place. The neck is adjustable in 3 locations and I think this will make it a more reliable product than lamps that are adjustable over the entire neck. So far it is not drooping or sagging.

The light is bright, clean. The on/off switch is easy to access on the base.

The same exact lamp was available thru Staples for $129.99 paid less thru Amazon so I'm happy with the value.
