I was looking for an airplane lamp with a night light option. This one fit the bill. The shade was super cheap with ugly, red ribbon on it....not like the one shown in the picture. And it arrived smashed since the box was smashed. However, I found a replacement shade that I like for about $10. The windows of the airplane were clear which made the night light super bright so I painted them a frosty white. Also, the pole is white and curved not silver and straight. I still gave it 4 stars because after I made some changes I love it!

This lamp is pretty cute, but it is VERY different compared to the picture. First, there is a line of bright red trim on the top and bottom of the lampshade. This doesn't match the dark maroon red of the plane and isn't shown in the picture. Also, there is a lot of red paint on the windows of the plane. I should be able to scrape it off, but it takes away from the look. I was also disappointed that the "Stick" part of the lamp is white, not silver and curved, not straight. This is one of the only "non-biplane" lamps I could find, and I do like the nightlight feature, but it is different than pictured.
