It would rate a 5 star except that it was a little hard to fit into one side of the holder on the lamp. May just have been my lamp. I had my own finial to cap it on but if you do not have one you must order one also. Otherwise it works fine and I am pleased with it.

I bought two of these to replace broken harps on two old Crate and Barrel leather base lamps that I love. These work perfectly in the old fitting so it was unnecessary to install the base. A few seconds for each and I have two like-new lamps. Great purchase from Amazon.

The product itself seems sturdy and the pewter looks much better than my old 'gold' but be aware that 2 piece does not mean two harps. It means the bottom detaches from the top and you get only 1 harp in the package. Also it took a long time to arrive and I could have got them locally for a lesser price had I understood that it was only 1 harp.
