This lamp works well on our gran piano. The clip is sturdy and holds well, and the light is bright without glaring. Bulbs get pricey, though, so be careful not to knock it or be too rough or you shorten your bulb life.

We discussed what size would be needed. This is great for normal piano music, i.e. portfolio size books. Couldn't be happier with this. We bought black so it wouldn't call attention to itself. The price is high, but then there's not a mass market for these to offset costs and create competition. Very happy with this purchase.
