I have tried CFLs from various manufactures and have yet to come across a bulb that can match the GE's Reveal series. This series looks more like a normal incandescent bulb, provides instant-on light, and do not cast that greenish tint found on some of the lower end compact fluorescent lights. Until someone challenges my findings and presents me with another brand/series, the reveal will be my go-to CFL.
Pros:
Nice color temp, more akin to an incandescent
No green tint
Instant-on (though does take time to warm up to full brightness)
Cons:
Price.

We replaced some older CFL bulbs in our kitchen with these. They start quicker and are brighter then the older builds. They really reveal the colors of the food we are preparing.
Highly recommended.
Best Deals for GE Lighting 75412 Reveal Spiral CFL 20-Watt (75-watt replacement)
Purchased 10 of these a two and a half years ago. The quality of light is GREAT. They are used over bathroom vanities, so no more than 3 hours of use a day. So far, three bulbs have died, and of course, I did not keep the packaging and receipts.
I've used CFLs for years, and these have had the shortest lifespan.
Honest reviews on GE Lighting 75412 Reveal Spiral CFL 20-Watt (75-watt replacement)
The new Reveal CFL's are a decent lightbulb but they are very yellow light and indistinguishable from any 20 watt 2700K CFL you can buy in a store. These are not like Reveal incandescents which have a crisp color temperature and beautiful, unique light. This is not the right color temperature for a lightbulb to carry the Reveal brand name. Hopefully GE can improve the color temperature of these CFL'S in the future but I won't be buying any more of these until they do.
