The lamp is well made and a spectacular mix of slate and hand-pounded copper. The shade is suade. It is a perfect match for the honey-oak lamp tables that have slate inserts. We could'nt be happier with the product, the price or the transaction. Cudos.

Unusual design, hand made, so there are slight differences in each one. Would have given it 5 stars, but the on/off switch seems very week and doesn't work very well maybe because it's designed as an outdoor lamp.
