I bought this as I had been looking for a good floor lamp for months. Couldn't find one locally that I liked. This one looked good so I ordered it from Amazon and it arrived badly damaged. Still looked like a good one so I asked for and got a replacement. Second arrived undamaged but either defective or just very poorly made. Three piece pole screwed together and onto base. Joining spots were awful very loose, as if threads were badly machined or stripped. Wiggled like a toy snake.Called Amazon to have picked up (heavy) by UPS and returned for refund. Amazon to have it picked up in one day. They did great but lamp a real looser.
In addition to being poorly made, packaging was terrible. Very fragile, flaky Styrofoam molded material fell apart at the touch. Box was that thin paper-like cardboard often associated with Chinese imports. Even tape was thin and easy to tear.
I strongly recommend that you avoid this I can almost promise you won't like it.
