We are very happy with this pendant light. It is great on a dimmer, and the diffuser that is included is perfect. Make sure when shopping for a light like this it has a diffuser, it makes the lighting so pleasant. We have this light over our dining table. We have an informal dining set, and the table seats 6 comfortably if you are looking for a sense of scale. I actually used a paper shopping bag to create a template of the light before purchasing to see what the scale would look like. My husband has done a lot of electrical and was very pleased with the quality of the light and the wiring. Once we paint the walls in the room I may enhance the shade with some simple colored ribbon for the trim, but only because I love color. You can't go wrong with this light.

I love it! I'd shopped retail stores for this light and simply couldn't find it. I was skeptical to buy online without seeing it in person. I was pleasantly surprised! I'm very happy with the quality, especially for the price. I was on the fence about getting the beige because I thought it would be too dark. It's perfect! I think the white would be great if you are looking for a very stark look, but for my house the off-white of the beige works well. Still light enough. I hope this helps!

Great light for the price. Install was pretty straight forward, no issues at all. Leveling the shade and the diffuser proved to be a bit difficult, but the end result looks fantastic. Tastefully modern, but not too edgy.

The material on the shade was a bit nubbly and rough. Not what I was looking for. I thought the seams would be a bit smoother in texture. Where the seams overlapped was not smoothly fitted together. The seller didnt fully describe the type of fabric used for the pendant either. I sent it back to the seller and lost $20 in the process. I will have to be more careful with these types of purchases in the future.

This is an elegant, quality light... totally makes the room (dining room over the table). Easy enough to install. Not $500 like it would have been at other, over-the-top expensive modern lighting places. The option to have it hang higher or lower, using several/few metal rods, versus paying for the custom-made length, was wonderful.
