The lamp is nice and sturdy, but doesn't take a 150 W standard bulb as advertised (which was one of the main reasons I bought this in the first place).

Great price for such a beautiful lamp! Granted, it's taller than most table lamps, but I put this one on my nightstand and it looks so chic. The light is soft, yet bright enough for me to read. It has a little roll switch on the wire, which makes it effortless to turn off. I'll be getting the floor lamp next!

I've bought this one and a bigger one, I love both of them.

I was expected wood instead of metal, but I don't mind, the finish are really nice and the shade is in fabric not in paper, that a plus!

The lamp is beautiful and takes up very little space on my nightstand. I did notice that the bottom stand of the lamp did leave behind some fine scratches. I advise anyone purchasing this to also purchase some small felt stickers to apply to the bottom of the lamp to prevent any serious damage from occurring.

I ordered 2 of these as nightstand lights. They really add a nice compliment to our bedroom decor. We use the 13 watt fluorescent bulbs for brighter light than the 40 watt incandescent.

I've read complaints about the switch location. Buyers must be aware that the switch is on the cord. And honestly, with this kind of light, where else could it possibly be?
