I place this in my furnished basement to help purify the air. It seems to be getting better. The lamp never seems to be warm to the touch? The light from the salt lamp is lovely..........I certainly got my monies worth.

This lamp is very heavy. Might need help in placing it. I has met my every expectation and more. I have placed five salt lamps of various sized throughou my house. My family and I have noticed a remarkable improvement in the air quality. The dust has almost dissappeared. Everything drops to the floor and a quick dust mopping (we do not have carpet) is all it takes. I know there are some skeptics concernin the benefits of these beautiful lamps, however, I can say with complete confidence that they are wonderful.
