This is a very beautiful antique brass touch lamp. Don't expect a lot of light, the shaded glass doesn't let much through.
It does require some assembly which was expected, however the reason I deduct a star was due to one of the welded tabs (that hold the glass) was welded incorrectly. I bought 2 of these and only one had this issue, which I was able to correct by bending the tab gently.
I think they are very nice and would buy them again.
