This is a beautiful lamp. I bought it for an Baldwin Hamilton studio upright piano. It is the right size for the piano, I'm glad I didn't purchase the 12" one. This looks great on top of the piano, is fully adjustable two ways, and provides perfect lighting with 2 sockets. The switch is on the base, which is better than the cord. It shipped miraculously fast to our home in MA, even though I was expecting a delay because of the hurricane. It is heavy, with felt on the base to avoid scratching the piano. I'm happy that the company is based in Vermont, the lamp is handmade, and it was a fair price! So rare these days. Thanks to the House of Troy for employing craftspersons here in the USA.
