It's bigger than I expected, which is good because I needed a large lamp for the space. The shade had a few marks on it when it was delivered but not enough to make go through the pains of returning. As the other reviews said, it's a very nice piece, modern, masculine. I like the contrasting wood and silver. True to its pictures.

Nice masculine lamp, can be used in a for a traditional or contemporary look. It is in my living room along with the matching floor model that I got from another vendor. They get a lot of positive comments.
