The manufacture of this light has some quality control issues. There are small holes/pits that can be clearly seen on each of the three shades. I suppose they were left from the mold injection process, but they should be polished away. I also have one nut missing from the box. Called Amazon to get a replacement but still have the same problem with the shade. Don't buy this light if you are attentive to details.

BTW, the shade looks old, rusty, or antique-like during daytime.

I have cherry cabinets in my kitchen/dining area and thought this would look good. I was wrong it looks wonderful! The oiled bronze finish is perfect. The down lights are great and add the perfect soft lighting I was looking for. This light looks gorgeous when you turn it on at night. I have it on a dimmer switch so I can create any type of lighting situation. Very easy to install. Only hard part was weaving the wiring in and out of the chain links to "hide" the wire. I've received many "wow's" when folks see it for the first time. Am super happy with this purchase.
