We purchased 2 lamps for our bedroom. After some placement adjustments they are working well. The adjustments were due to the fact that the touch switch only works when you touch the lighted ring at the base. It does not work if you touch it anywhere else. My only complaint, other that it comes directly from China, is that the shipping is 6 weeks, not the 2 that was indicated. That even stated by yetboy66.

This is a great lamp! Love the touch control that turns it on and off. The light tube and flexible neck allow for focused light. I used it as a bedside reading light.
