I thought these lamps were for decoration only. I was standing next to one at my local health food store reading some pamphlet on vitamins and my terrible hay fever started to go away!!! I purchased one and brought it home, it's on a small night table next to my bed,no more sneezing, watery eyes, and nasal discharge!!! I feel fine.

I love my salt lamp.

Whether or not it actually provides physical environmental benefits, I do not know.

What I do know is that the glow it gives off is very soothing. It is somewhat a rose/peach glow.

I haven't had any issues with it "sweating" or getting wet as other reviewers have said, so I am limited in that aspect.

I would put one of these in every room if it weren't for the cost.

Goodness gracious! I have never seen such a beautiful product packaged so poorly. My lamps were stuffed into one medium sized box that was clearly damaged. The boxes that contained my lamps were severely damaged. The lamps themselves were almost out of the box. Also, with one of my lamps, the bulb was damaged and I am unable to replace it. I paid good money for shipping and I expect to receive my items in a respectable manner. Get it together people!
