Great and beautiful lamp BUT not silver in color there is a 'burnished', almost gold tone to the so-called 'silver'. I verified with Lite Source that is the color it is, not a true silver. I ordered two to go on glass/pewter tables, but they do not look good at all. If you want a silver colored lamp -this is not it.
