I ordered two of these lamps for my office. The shades were cheap and had flaws and the bases have a green antiquing, one was "greener" than the other, but they sit across the room from each other so it isn't too noticeable. I had to tweak the shades to sit straight on the lamp. Over all they are okay.

We changed the shade because it just wasnt that nice. Color was not great when light was turned on. Base was solid though.

I purchased this lamp for our entry table, and it is the perfect size and shape. It's not too formal, and although the shade is a linen white, with the bulb on, it glows more of an off-white, like in the photo. The base is a coppery-green/black. It goes well in a room without a lot of true black items. Must use a 40 w bulb. My hubby accidentally put in a 100 w, and it burnt out after one use. The lamp was fine, fortunately.

These are nice and heavy, not tippy light other lamps I've purchased. Other reviewers mentioned the shades being of poor quality and I am in total agreement. I need to buy new shades, the ones that comes with the lamps are flimsy paper. The accent details are in a patina green, however, they do not detracted from the beauty of the lamp. You just can't see this detail in the photographs provided.
