This was alot smaller then I expected, but it's working fine. It uses G type bulb. I purchased a G16 for it and it's working well. I thought about buying an LED G16 to save energy, but LED tend to burn very hot and the lamp suggest using bulb of 40 watts maximum because chance of fire.
I also like that the light switch is on the cord instead of on the lamp itself, because I have it on my night stand and it's easier to reach being on the cord.
I would suggest Amazon to tell customers buying this lamp the light bulb recommended for this lamp.

Can't go wrong with the price for these little lamps. If you're tight on space, these are the perfect size. No problems, good deal.

It's exactly what I wanted. I use it in my bathroom. The light and fan are a combo and I don't like having to deal with listening to the fan. It is a soothing, low light atmosphere.

Much smaller than anticipated. Bought it for my son's bedroom, very disappointed by the size and quality. Took the plastic covering off the lampshade and basically tore the inner support out. Very cheaply made, not even worth the price I paid. The bulb was also difficult to find. Definitely not worth it!!
