I was looking for a bright, non heat generating, reading lamp for my under-the-stairs-room. I like to read the Bible and pray in the morning. The room is small. If the lamp gets hot, the room gets hot quickly. This lamp never gets hot under the light bulb, even after it is turned on for a while. Also the lamp is fairly bright: it consists of two 15W fluorescent bulbs. The body is well-made hard plastic and it is sturdy. The lamp is not fancy, but it serves its purpose very well. I am so happy that I found this lamp!

if both the bulbs worked...Only one bulb lit...so I had to send it back...I wish the company would have tested the bulbs and make sure all the connections worked. I looked all over for a lamp like this that I used to have...this was the closest thing I found...and I was disappointed that I had to return it.

I bought a Ledu Fluorescent Gooseneck Desk Lamp and have been using it for several years. I really liked it and was wondering if I would be able to find another one when it was necessary. After searching online, I was delighted to have found another one by way of Amazon. I ordered and received it within two days due to the fact that the supplier is in the same city as I am. The on/off switch is different from the one I previously had but that's a good thing because the switch was an ongoing problem on my old one which ultimately was the cause of its demise. I actually like the switch on this one a lot better. The entire transaction with Amazon and the supplier was seamless.
