This lamp is all metal construction and it stays where you put it. Also the handle makes it easy to adjust the angle (especially if you're still using those hot incandescent bulbs!) The desk clamp part is also metal, meaning it won't break like those typical plastic ones. This is an excellent lamp for the money!

I love the price !!! Very easy to use ( the top of the lamp has a circular part you twist and it comes on) and I love it!!!! The bottom is padded to make sure no furniture get scratches and overall I love it! The bottom wiggles a little but it is defiantly not an issue.It was what I expected and i am very happy with it I got it early and will be shopping with this company again!
